Eplan Recommendations

• Software and hardware requirements must be met.
• Make sure Windows is up-to-date.
• Your Windows account that you use to sign in must have local administrators rights assigned.
• Your Firewall and virus scanner do not block the installation.

Install software

1. Unpack the Eplan download locally on your PC.
2. Run the 'Setup.exe', right-click 'Run as administrator'.
3. Select program variant to be installed.
4. In the next step you can install the software with default settings. To do so, simply select the 'Standard Installation'. If you want to customize the installation to adapt the storage location for your master data or the scope of the data and languages, please follow the step 'User-defined installation'.
5. Enter a company code and select the required measuring unit.

Install Industry Package

• Extract the Eplan download locally on your PC. 
• Run 'Setup.exe' by right-clicking and selecting 'Run as administrator'. Select 'Standard Installation', all directories from the software installation will be used. 
• Repeat the previous steps to install additional Industry Packages.
