Recommendations

• Software and hardware requirements must be met.
• Make sure Windows is up-to-date.
• Your Windows account that you use to sign in must have local administrators rights assigned.
• Your Firewall and virus scanner do not block the installation.

Install software

1. Unpack the Eplan download locally on your PC.
2. Run the 'Setup.exe', right-click 'Run as administrator'.
3. Select program variant to be installed.
4. In the next step you can install the software with default settings. To do so, simply select the 'Standard Installation'. If you want to customize the installation to adapt the storage location for your master data or the scope of the data and languages, please follow the step 'User-defined installation'.
5. Enter a company code and select the required measuring unit.
6. Select 'Install'.

Install Industry Packages

Beneath the functional components of Eplan Platform there are 9 tailor fit and free selectable industry packages to chose.

Industry Packages contain sample data and master data regarding the specific industry. The download is optional and multiple packages can be selected.

• Extract the Eplan download locally on your PC.
• Execute the 'Setup.exe' via right mouse button 'Run as administrator'.
• Select the 'Standard Installation', all directories of the software installation will be copied.
• Repeat the previous steps to install further Industry Packages.
