Recommendations

Software and hardware requirements must be met.
Make sure Windows is up-to-date.
Your Windows account that you use to sign in must have local administrators rights assigned.
Your Firewall and virus scanner do not block the installation.

Unpack the Eplan download locally on your PC.
Run the 'Setup.exe', right-click 'Run as administrator'.
Select program variant to be installed.
In the next step you can install the software with default settings. To do so, simply select the 'Standard Installation'. If you want to customize the installation to adapt the storage location for your master data or the scope of the data and languages, please follow the step 'User-defined installation'.
Enter a company code and select the required measuring unit.
Select 'Install'.

Specify the desired master data (original master data and system master data), Settings, company code the desired Target directories and select the required measuring unit.
User interface language(s) and select the activated language.
Make sure that all of the program components are selected.
Make sure that all of the master data types are selected.
Select 'Install'.

Once the download is complete, extract the files to your PC.
Launch ‘Setup.exe’ by right-clicking and selecting ‘Run as administrator’.
Select ‘Standard Installation’ all directories from the previously installed Eplan software will be retained.

If you wish to install additional Industry Packages, repeat the steps.

Selecting an Industry Package is optional. Choose the packages that suit your industry or specific application.
