Eplan Preplanning Basic Training Building Automation
Target group
You work in building automation. Your tasks will include the creation of functional diagrams and general preliminary planning based on BACnet.
Benefits and objectives
Eplan Preplanning enables you to plan and design building automation systems and I&C systems in accordance with the VDI 3814 and DIN EN ISO 16484-3 standards, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). You can import data from external tabular sources as well as create function diagrams graphically. You can also access the data collected and enriched via Eplan Preplanning for downstream planning phases in building automation.

- Importing pre-planning data from Excel lists
Create your own segment templates
- Creation of segment templates for PCT locations, planning objects, etc.
- Use of segment templates in preliminary planning
Preliminary cable planning
- Creation of graphical cable pre-planning with cable planning objects
- Creation of analyses for cable planning objects
User address key BAS
- Creation of a freely configurable BAS
- Use of the BAS in analyses etc.
Provide and manage project documentation
- Create Eplan project backup
- View the versatile import and export functions
