It is possible to integrate your own SSL/TLS certificate into the configuration. This must be issued in the name of the computer (hostname) on which Eplan Smart Production is to be run, or must contain the computer name (this is the case, for example, with wildcard certificates).
Requirements
- X.509 certificate in PEM format.
- .crt and .key files are valid and available on the server.
- The certificate must be published and verified within the domain network in use.
- Valid entries under ‘Subject Alternative Name’ (certificate properties).
The required certificate and the associated certificate key file must be provided by your IT department. The creation and management of the certificate are not part of Eplan Smart Production.
