If the customer requirements change or wires are missing, this can lead to changes to the production order while the control cabinet is being assembled. Smart Wiring ensures that all employees have immediate access to updated documentation. In addition, the software provides support to implement and document these changes.

Smart Wiring shows the technician the differences between the versions and updates the check list of detailed work instructions accordingly. This way you shorten response times for modifications, simplify communication and lead the technician through the changes.

Eplan Smart Wiring tracks the current status of every individual wire using the common traffic-light principle: completely installed wires light up green, while those still needing work light up red. If there are questions about specific components, technicians can note them using the comments function and forward them to the engineering department via email or in a status report.

Production managers can now gain comprehensive insights into all production orders and performance indicators at a glance: The monitoring dashboards provide detailed analytics, allowing you to track the progress of your orders, identify bottlenecks and make data-driven decisions to optimize processes effectively. The central overview sums up important information about all of your orders and comments. Further, a detailed view provides you with data, e.g. about processing times and material consumption. In addition, you can export a production report for each order.
