SPS 2026: The System – do it.
How Eplan and Rittal make data useful, usable and available across all processes
Why is it when companies invest heavily in digitalisation and automation that data processing still takes so much time? The question is not so much which specific technology will bring about the next improvement. The key question is: How can data be made useful, usable, and available across all processes?
Visit Eplan, Rittal and Rittal Automation Systems and explore how individual and distinct solutions come together and combine to form a seamless, end-to-end system.

Automated Project Generation – now in 3D!
The automated creation of circuit diagrams has long been possible with Eplan tools – and at SPS 2026, automated project generation is now also available in 3D! With the Automated Project Generation cloud service (formerly eBuild), you can use your bills of materials to automatically place your components on the mounting plate of a 3D control cabinet in Eplan Pro Panel according to predefined layouts with just a few clicks. This approach offers you an easy introduction to automated engineering.
Our tip: Are you generally interested in the topic of automated engineering? Then do come and speak to our experts from Eplan Consulting directly at our stand – we’d be happy to advise you.
Eplan Smart Sourcing: New suppliers available
With Eplan Smart Sourcing, users can find out right from the engineering stage which components are available from participating manufacturers or distributors. The good news is that more and more suppliers are sharing the availability of their components via Eplan Smart Sourcing. At SPS, we’ll be introducing DigiKey and Zajadacz as the latest additions to our network. What’s more, other top-tier companies are already in the starting blocks! Are you a component manufacturer or distributor yourself and would like to find out about the benefits of Eplan Smart Sourcing? At our stand, there will be plenty of opportunities to get in touch with our team, with no obligation. We look forward to seeing you!
Product Change Notification (PCN): Data quality guaranteed!
Eplan and Phoenix Contact are joining forces to demonstrate how the Product Change Notification concept can be implemented in practice: At SPS 2026, Phoenix Contact’s product data, including all updates, will be automatically transferred to the Eplan Data Portal using AAS technology, where it will be available to Eplan customers. Information on product changes is available in real time, and Eplan users receive targeted notifications regarding the Phoenix Contact components they use.
