Network connection
If you store your EPLAN master data (projects, articles, symbols, macros, documents, images, etc.) in the network, you need a high-performance network connection.
Recommendation (Optimal conditions):
Microsoft Windows network
Connection rate to the server: 1 Gbits/s.
Connection rate to workstation: 100 Mbits/s.
Recommended latency < 1 ms.
A lower infrastructure also makes it possible to use the EPLAN Platform.
Internet connection
An Internet connection is temporarily required for registrations, licensing and cloud solutions.
Recommendation:
Bandwidth: min. 20 Mbit/s. *1
*1: You can perform a common speed test to determine your bandwidth.
Hardware Server
Recommended configuration:
At least 1.4 GHz 64-bit processor
At least 2GB RAM (recommend 4GB RAM)
At least 1000 GB HDD/SSD (~500GB EPLAN Files, ~500 GB SQL Server, ~1GB license management)

Hardware Work Computer (Clients)
The computer platform is a PC with an Intel Core i5, i7, i9 or compatible processor. Rather select a high-speed computer with less CPU cores than a slower computer with more CPU cores.
Recommended configuration:
Processor: Multicore CPU with AVX2 Instruction Set Extensions Technology
Memory: min. 16 GB
Hard Drive: 500 GB, min. 50 GB free space (recommendation, SSD)
Monitor/Graphics Resolution: 2-screen solution with a resolution of at least 1280 x 1024, recommended 2.560 x 1.440
3D display: Graphics card from AMD or NVIDIA with the latest Direct3D driver (only for use of Pro Panel or Harness proD)
