Operating system

Please note the information in the EPLAN Information Portal: Software Releases (eplan.help).

For your operating system information, see System Settings > About > Pane, Windows Specifications.

.NET Framework

Please note the information in the EPLAN Information Portal: Software Releases (eplan.help).

In the following way, you can control your .Net Framework with our shares.

  1. Go to Windows Explorer and select C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\.
  2. In the Framework folder, open the latest version folder.
  3. Open the accessibility .dll properties with the right mouse button and select the "Details" tab.
  4. Here you can find your currently installed .Net Framework version.

Database Systems

Since the EPLAN platform is available as a 64-bit version, please note the following special features:

To use Access databases for project management and the dictionary, the Microsoft operating system must be installed in the 64-bit version. Microsoft Office applications that may be installed must also be in the 64-bit version throughout.

If you have installed the Microsoft Office applications in the 32-bit version, you must use SQL Server databases for project management and the dictionary.

Microsoft Office

In the following way, you can control your Microsoft products with our approvals.

  1. Open e.B. Excel, go to File > Account.
  2. Click on the button "Info about Excel".
  3. A window will open with your system information.
  4. The Office icons indicate whether you have Access installed.
  5. Under "About Excel" you will find the necessary information about the installed Office version.

Microsoft SQL

In the following way, you can control your Microsoft products with our approvals.

  1. In the taskbar, click the Windows icon
  2. Directly from the keyboard, type "Add or Remove Programs", press "Enter"
  3. Under Apps and Features, find SQL
  4. Check search results for "Microsoft SQL Server xxxx (64-bit)"
