EPLAN Recommendations

• Restart the PC you want to install so that Windows is up to date.
• Your Windows account used to log in must have local administrators assigned rights.
• Your firewall and virus scanners do not block the installation process.

Install software

1. Unzip the EPLAN download file (.zip) locally on your PC at the desired location.
2. Run the "Setup.exe" with the right mouse button "Run as administrator".
3. Select the program variant to be installed, confirm the selection with [Next].
4. Confirm license agreements.
5. Define the desired target directories for the EPLAN program files, master data ( originalmaster data and system master data), settings, company ID and select the required unit of measurement.
6. Make sure that all program components are selected.
7. Make sure that all master data types are selected.
8. Select the interface language(s) and select the enabled language.
9. Select [Install].
